This policy covers check.usgridrelief.org, operated by Foglia Investments, trading as US Grid Relief. It explains what we collect when you use the solar and battery check, why we collect it, and who else sees it. The policy for our main site is at usgridrelief.org/privacy.
We are a private company. We are not a utility and we are not a government agency. We are not affiliated with SDG&E, the California Public Utilities Commission, or any state or federal agency. We do not install solar ourselves.
Everything below comes from you, except the last two rows.

We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, date of birth, bank or card details, or utility account credentials. Never send those to us. Nobody from US Grid Relief will ask you for them by text or email.
When you submit the form you tick a box agreeing to receive calls and text messages from US Grid Relief at the number provided, including messages sent by automated dialing system or prerecorded voice, about solar and battery options for your home. Chase Foglia is your only point of contact. No installer will call or text you.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. We store the exact wording you agreed to, along with the date, time and IP address, so both of us have a record of what was agreed.
We do not sell your personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share it with:
This site loads the Meta pixel. It records that a page was viewed and that a form was submitted, so we can tell which advertisement produced an enquiry.
We also send Meta a server-side record of form submissions through their Conversions API. In that record your email address and phone number are hashed using SHA-256 before they leave our systems — Meta receives an irreversible fingerprint used only to match against accounts it already has, not readable contact details. Your name, bill range, roof details and ZIP code are not sent to Meta.
Meta's own handling of that data is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy. You can limit how your activity is used for advertising in Meta's ad preferences.
The Meta pixel sets cookies on this site to recognise a returning visitor and to connect an advertisement click to a form submission. We also keep a short-lived record in your browser's session storage of which advertisement you arrived from; it is discarded when you close the tab. Blocking cookies in your browser will not stop you using the grant check.
We keep enquiry records for as long as we are working with you and for up to four years afterwards. That period is set by the record-keeping expected for telephone and text consent, so we can show what you agreed to and when. Ask us to delete your record sooner and we will, except where we are required to keep the consent record itself.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your personal information. Ask and we will honour them.
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are processed server-side, and the credentials used to store your record are never present in your browser. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise.
This site is meant for homeowners and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be posted here before they take effect.
